FoodSafeIQ SMS Program Terms

Effective August 25, 2026

Program description

FoodSafeIQ sends operational workplace messages on behalf of customer employers. Messages may include food-safety audit assignments, corrective-action tasks, reminders, critical food-safety alerts, completed audit notices, and task-status updates. The program does not send third-party marketing messages.

Enrollment

Before SMS activation, the employee personally signs or affirmatively accepts the FoodSafeIQ SMS consent disclosure. The employer keeps the signed paper form and certifies consent in FoodSafeIQ. SMS enrollment is optional. Employees who decline SMS should contact their employer for another workplace notification method.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on assigned tasks and workplace activity. Message and data rates may apply under the employee's mobile plan. FoodSafeIQ does not charge employees for SMS enrollment.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. FoodSafeIQ or its messaging provider will send one confirmation and suppress future program messages to that number. Workplace tasks remain available inside FoodSafeIQ. Reply START to renew SMS enrollment where supported.
