FoodSafeIQ processes information needed to provide food-safety audits, corrective-action workflows, workplace notifications, account administration, and related services.

Information we process

We process account and business information, workplace location information, audit content, photographs submitted for analysis, task and corrective-action records, contact information, and service activity. For SMS notifications, we process the employee's mobile number, employer, workplace location, consent status, consent date, consent method, opt-out status, and messaging records.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure FoodSafeIQ, analyze submitted audit information, assign and track corrective actions, deliver requested workplace notifications, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

SMS and mobile information

FoodSafeIQ does not sell or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to service providers that help us operate and deliver the messaging program, including telecommunications providers, solely to provide those services. Those providers may not use the information for their own marketing.

SMS consent applies only to FoodSafeIQ workplace notifications described on the consent form. Message frequency varies based on workplace activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.

Employer responsibilities

Customer employers are responsible for collecting employee consent before activating workplace SMS notifications and retaining the signed consent form. FoodSafeIQ records the employer administrator's certification and electronic consent metadata.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, document consent and opt-out activity, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and comply with law. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed.

Your choices

Employees may stop FoodSafeIQ text messages at any time by replying STOP. Opting out of SMS does not remove workplace tasks from FoodSafeIQ. Employees should contact their employer for another notification method or to correct their information.
